Lost in Rutland? Isn't that like losing your luggage in a phonebox?

All depends if you're commissioned or not, and your gender I suppose. Point taken though.

Harriers are noisy in an almost annoying way, but they can be zoned out. That pair yesterday was just plain intrusive through volume, deep roar and reverb. God knows what it would have been like when the Vulcans were around.

(awesome?)

Lost in Rutland? .....It has been known!

I remember a poor army chap did exactly that on my JEFTS course, he returned to Barkston, eventually, and had wet himself (literally). Shouldn't laugh, poor git! I think it was his first solo sector recce so fair enough.

Shouldn't that read Victors? (Cottesmore) I can't think of a base in Rutland with Vulcans, but will stand correcting.
