35 Squadron 1966

I have a photograph (foolscap size) taken at RAAF Darwin in feb '66. It is in a very poor state and not worth posting in its current condition. I was wondering if any of you pruners out there might have a copy to post on the site. The photo is of the full 35 Squadron detachment with a Vulcan as a backdrop. The CO was Wg cdr D.A. Arnott, sitting centre stage. There are about 100 persons in the photo. IIRC we were on detachment from RAF Tengah at the time to take part in air defence exercies. I know that all the members on the photo would be over 60 now, the more senior in their 90's if still going. Wg Cdr Arnott acheived Air Cdr I believe and I think I read his obituary some years ago.

Here's hoping.

Aaron.

Hi Aaron,
I can't help with your request, but have a think about posting your photograph here: Photograph Restoration & Dating. Conservation Family History Local History

I have seen some amazing things done to old Lancaster Squadron photographs and to other military photos.

Good luck,
Brian
