Great pics. Did you get any of the C-17 being offloaded at Cosford today?

Princeway,

there is no harm in posting pictures of MILITARY AIRCRAFT on this forum. Most of the pictures posted on here are warmly received.

Some lovely shots there Trev.

Princeway or Mods, if you object to me posting photo's of the great work our Military Pilots do then please pm me & let me know.

I just thought that the guys would like to see thier own flying in action.

Not really a "Spotter" though, just an enthusiast who was a Forces kid & also used to work for NAAFI & still enjoys the odd day out taking Photo's of Military aircraft where safe & allowed without upsetting anyone.

Sorry for those upset & thanks to those who posted Comments.

Merry Christmas.

Trev

Personally I always like seeing a few nice military piccies here and I wouldn't worry about someone on their 5th post getting a bit hormonal.

Princeway; Your post is not appreciated, the photos are!
Many of us spent a considerable part of our service at Shawbury and the occasional reminder, in any form, of the happy times we served there is welcomed.

trev, awesome phots, particularly appreciated as the squirrel formation was flown by myself and my friend on our solo formation trip, with one of our instructors flying the lead aircraft, i was in 78 and my pal was in 71, it was indeed our final sortie at shawbury as we have now graduated. Any chance you could email me the high quality photo files? as when i try and save it off the site they come up quite small, [email protected]
cheers!

No probs, photo's on the way to yourself & Dave who requested them as well.

This is why i like to post photo's i take when i'm out & about, the aircrew like seeing my work just as much as i like showing thier great work.

I don't class myself as a spotter but do like taking aviation photo's which is my Hobby. I am not great at photoing yet but can see i need to improve a lot. Same as you guys out there, Practice makes perfect.

You can see my Improvements here on my web site;

Thank you all for looking & also the comments posted on here.

Merry Christmas & stay safe you guys out in Conflict Zones.

Trev,

Great photos. I was the instructor leading the formation. Nice to see a different view of it.

All the best.

Thanks very much Guys, WOW!! never had a responce as good as this on here before & i have posted photo's from Valley Coningsby Lossiemouth & Waddington.
I think next time i get a good day off work in the new year i will come over there & do more photo's & find some better vantage points other than Crash gate six, been looking on Google earth & now see possible locations to try depending on which way wind is from & what area of the airfield you use the day i choose to spend there.

Many thanks for your comments .

Merry Christmas.

Could have been me in WG. 77cse Jan-Oct 90...which is odd because this thread involves me in a totally different type of aircraft too

7of9,
Keep posting your photos and ignore idiots like Priceway.

I'm also happy with the results from my Sony A350.
