Fed up with Nimrod? - Please to consider

Maritime Patrol Aircraft - CP-140 AIMP - Aurora Alternatives - Kawasaki KHI P-X - CASR Background - Canadian American Strategic Review - Aurora AIMP - Aurora Modernization - Kawasaki Heavy Industries - KHI C-X Airlifter - military aircraft - aircraft

If UK PLC wishes a plan C to Nimrod just in case of unexpected project cancellation or Poseidon becoming unavailable due funds etc, perhaps this frame may offer some interesting options.

Looks like a cross between a Convair and DC8 to me.

One minor snag: Japan does not allow export of indiginous military technology.

KHI discovered that its prototype was assembled with flawed rivets. [2] Then they found that the prototype’s stabilizers were weak and the fuselage deformed during pressurization – all problems needing rectification before production.
Good one. I'd love to fly it.

I'd like to see them sync the machine gun through the blades.
