Flight International has a very interesting article on UK military helicopter operations including Exercise Jebel Sahara and background on current operational matters. Recommended reading

Glad to hear it. Personally I think we don't deploy enough, so a few more exercises and nights out of bed will be just what we need.

Could not agree more, I have had 10 days in a row in the same bed so it must be time for some more time away!!!

Bed Sores

Door Slider,

10 days in bed - could be a slip of the tongue or maybe you were off sick or you'd been night flying all night hence days in bed. Brings to mind the lovely little phrase-

"Bread is the staff off life - Life in the RAF is one long loaf"

Hat, coat, umbrella, braces, belt, twine running for the door!
