Project Propeller 2009
This seems an appropriate time to bring this to your attention. If any of you ladies and gentlemen can help PLEASE do. Pilots (and aircraft) are always needed to convey these wonderful veterans to their destination. It is very difficult to convey in words the sheer joy of this event. It is a privilege to be able to fly a veteran to their destination and the cost of a day's flying is a small price to pay for what they did for us. I've got the club's C152 booked already. Hope to see some of you there.

Great event to support, I flew 2 vets into Old warden last year, an ex- Liberator Flight Engineer and an ex-Vampire/Hunter/Camberra CFI who'd seen action out in Malaya doing Ground attack on Canberra B(I)8s.
Great stories, great atmosphere and the guys love meeting up with their old crews and comrades.
One of my guys said:
"If we hadn't done our bit, you'd be seeing lots of Spitfires being displayed in Germany rather than the other way around"
