From Truth Central: Ministry of Defence | Defence News | Military Operations | Royal Navy rescues sailor off Kenya

A Royal Naval helicopter crew and the medics on board HMS Northumberland, which is currently patrolling the waters off the east coast of Kenya, launched a successful operation to save the life of a merchant sailor yesterday, 5 November 2008

showed great skill remaining in a full power hover over the freighter's deck, just a few feet from a 30-foot (9-metre) mast.
Does the Merlin really require full power to hover at 30ft with (guessing) half-fuel load and 5.5 persons on board?

Funny thing is she looks like a lssie I saw recently at a hot location in the middle east that has Navy Merlins ?

I was sure she got pished one night in the bar as it was her birthday


I may of course be wrong as after a few wee cheeky beers eyesight and old age does kick in
