Registrations were American and rumour has it
"The three helos you saw were ex-German Polizei Pumas en-route to East Midlands for shipping to the US. They're registered to EP Aviation LLC, who according to several websites appear to be one of the Blackwater subsidiary companies."

Heard some crewroom banter the other day which suggested that if the Puma force loses two more airframes, then it becomes no longer economically viable to run, and may well be chopped!
