Help...need advice (2)
Follow on from wanabnavypilot really, I too am doing a bit at the BoB dinner. I have looked at loads of websites with impressive rolls of honour, but none seem to summarise by service. I was wondering If anyone new of a site or had any stats regarding contribution made by other services, foreign and commonwealth as well as our own Fleet Air Arm?
Was thinking it would be nice to say something the joint aspect of the whole thing. Especially as messes now are rarely exclusively RAF.
I was going to use the word purple but it always reminds of the purple helmets comedy moped display team, then again there may be some parallels to the present day.........

Not to forget the Poles.
Battle of Britain and the Polish Air Force
Nor Royal Navy.
RUSI The Battle of Britain: The Land Perspective
Nor these perspectives.
Air Power:The Battle of Britain
These chappies.
Home Sweet Home Front - THE HOME GUARD
Nor these.
BBC - WW2 People's War - Travels of a Captain R.E. (Searchlights)
This, as you say, is bloody obvious.
