I was almost thrown out of the RAF over a low flying incident. It involved 7 Tornado GR-1s, an Ostrich Farm and a gentleman's' magazine...

I've got to go back to work on Monday.

I often see Chinooks going over.
Just to remind the crews it's Edmonton - by the railway line.

That wasn't the targeting of a telephone box that happened in a remote hamlet in North Yorkshire (near Masham), was it?

I was at the receiving end of the complaints rung through to Leeming. Coo, what a lark. I believe there were questions in the House about it, and I don't mean the Public House!!

Well I'd just like to express my wholehearted dissatisfaction about the noise outside our house this afternoon. They didn't even give me time to get my shoes on before I had to run downstairs and onto our shingle drive to see the (BBMF?) Dakota rumbling over. A little bit of warning would have saved my tootsies.
Seriously though, what a splendid machine and always welcome over our little hamlet.
If anyone else cares to visit, I'd appreciate advance warning via pm.
Wattisham MATZ, northern stub,1 mile north of 'kin high mast.
Ta muchly

However, I do have a complaint regarding low flying military aircraft...... or, to be more precise, the lack of them ! I deliberatlely chose my place of residence with an eye out for aviation. So what happens, they close Bentwaters, Woodbridge, Wattisham (nearly),Honington and then commit the ultimate sin and close Coltishall. It is far too quiet hereabouts apart from flying egg whisks.
