A video has appeared on the internet showing British forces blowing up a Hercules C-130 bomber in the Iraqi desert.

Wasn't it removed last time round because the video clip was the best bit of BDA of the incident the insurgents could've hoped for?

Journalist

Maybe the journalist involved has got mixed up with the C130 "bombing" antics from the Falklands conflict, or maybe he spoke to someone from the beeb, and decided that C130 bomber was more attention grabbing than the usual C130 Chinook.
