13 SQN In Canada.

I would be very grateful to the GR-4 pilot that ''borrowed'' my desert boots if he was to return them. He was based with the TACP on BATUS and I was running the O.O.S. TACP. I lent them to you because your boots were shagged .I need them back as I deploy to the hot sandy rockie place soon. Sorry to use these means but ive had no joy on the phone. Kind regards

''Dobbin''

I have a couple of old, well used Brit and Yank desert boots in my attic if you get desperate; I have no use for them anymore.

Of course you could always pop down clothing stores and get some more.............

Don't judge a man until you've walked a mile in his boots. And then ...

He's a mile a way and you've got his boots.

I thank you.

If pilots were trustworthy stackers wouldn't need so many signatures for their kit.
Of course sometimes the safest bet is not to give them anything. ;o)

Rule 1, never lend kit to a man who lives in a different block.
Rule 2, wrt to rule 1..... Never trust a grobag wearing biological interface.
Rule 3, Ask a rock ape if he has some spare kit for sale.

Ah now you know why they are called 13 "The Thieving Bastards" Sqn.

Goes back to when they flew Lysanders or something..

Not anymore.

I handed back my issued kit (and a few extra bits) last year and headed for pastures new.
