He has farted and is being made to stand outside until the smell has gone. He is attached by wire to the aircraft in case they get an SAR scramble call. It allows the heli to take off with him attached, but keeps him outside until the smell has totally dispersed.

What is that bloke with the long Mic-Tel lead doing? Any ideas?
On the Seaking, one of the crew has to pull that wire to get the engines spinning.

No, he's not; he's towing the aircraft. There are now no tractors available as the last serviceable one fell off the deck of Illustrious the other week. They haven't found it yet as the driver had unfastened the lanyard attaching him to the tractor to act as a float in just such an eventuality.

The Boulmer Seaking just after lifting from the pad at West Cumberland Hospital after dropping off a casualty from the incident on Sca Fell today








Sorry about the acute angles but I was stood in my garden actually leaning against the house wall as they were nearly overhead.
