FRA and Hawks

Have FRA got a new hawk contract for the RAF or Navy. If yes will they be based at Durham Tees Valley (Teesside) with the Falcon 20ECMs.

+44(0)1325 332322 will get you Hangar 350 at Teeside. I'm sure they'll be able to assist.

The New Hawk 128's are going to Valley, and so far nowhere else, they will be flown by the RAF until MFTS starts and then will come under Ascent, and they will be maintained by Babcock. FRADU's Hawks are now maintained by Babcock at wherever they were before, fish head unit down south.

If you want Hawks near Durham Tees Valley, Leeming is your only choice, flown by the, RAF and RAF reservists and maintained by Babcocks, and they are cutting back on hours at the moment.

100 Sqn Do a Great Job, and the need for their services will (in my view) continue.

But, I don't think they will see the Hawk 128. It's a limited asset, and matched to the flying training need. I could see them continuing with T1's for a long time tho!

Same goes for FRA.

I could not agree more, however when the been counters get involved. 100 Sqn engineers have been told prepare for the chop in 2015.
