Military Aviation A forum for the professionals who fly military hardware. Also for the backroom boys and girls who support the flying and maintain the equipment, and without whom nothing would ever leave the ground. All armies, navies and air forces of the world equally welcome here.

Thanks for nothing

Chaps ungrateful though this may sound a genuine thankyou for your efforts particularly RAF/NAVY JHF strike units (20 Sqn in particular) in trying (but failing due to over commitment on behalf of civil serpents, politicians and bean counters, etc) to provide support at approx 1240Z + or - 5 SEC somewhere in Oxfordshire.
I know you wanted to but you couldn't

Us plucky Brits always trying hard in extremis, and in this case and in memory of one Marine that tried very hard and paid the largest debt he could. (Rest easy DG see you on the other side)

Thanks all

Keep up the good work
