CPL requirements

Can anyone tell me what the requirements are to get a CPL(not that fussed about an IRT)? I was under the impression it was similar to an ATPL but with less hours but some people seem to reckon it is closer to a PPL but with a few more hours.

I have 2000 hours and wondered if it was a simple PPL Air Law exam or whether it was a more complex process?

See LASORS Section D3.

All clearly laid out.
