Thank you Tonka three-ship flypast, 4m SW of Benson

Guess they must have been entertaining the crowds at Benson, but the three-ship Tonka flypast which overflew AA Towers (4 m SW of Benson) four times around 20.00 tonight was very welcome.

Mrs Jacko was in the West Wing turret, so saw the flypasts and accurately reported the aircraft as 'looking like three Tornados' whose formation, she said, got 'tighter and smarter' with each pass.

I was deep in the bowels of Castle Jacko, and by the time I'd emerged from the cellars the bounders had vanished.

Mrs Jacko was less impressed by the Tornado's combat capability than by the excellence of their formation flying, since they didn't leave any of those "noisy bloody helicopters" burning merrily on the pan, and so failed to halt another noisy evening.....
