RNAS MERRYFIELD OPEN EVENING 29th MAY
Thanks to all concerned for putting on yesterdays do,such a shame the weather put the mockers on procedings. Thankfully our party of 3 were the first in, so had the chance to take a few pics and chat with the crews before the weather changed for the worse.
As the heavens opened it was a quick dash back to the car and after 45 mins with no sign of a let up it was with regret that we made the decision to leave,the prospect of being out on an airfield in a thunderstorm was not deemed sensible. It is a great pity that your efforts were spoilt by mother nature. I do hope you will not be deterred from staging this event next year,I look forward to it.
