MoD 'covered up' Hercules bombing - Feb 12 2007
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/7406391.stm
"Contact was made with a second Hercules and soldiers cleared the runway so it could land. According to the report, they "had just enough time to take cover as the wing of the second C130 passed over their heads." It suffered some damage from debris but rescued everyone on the ground and took off again. "
Looks like 3 posting at the same time,

for those thick bints amongst us can you remind me if the ac ad got foam in it?i am fairly sure it didn't. there again i can barely remember what i did yesterday.
it goes to show that the arguement that these robust planes were never thought to be vunerable has well and truly been a theory that has been blown out of the water.
thank god all were safe and RIP XV179.

So short answer Chappie would be - no it wasn't fitted
Even if this ac had been fitted with Explosion Suppressant Foam (ESF) it is the Board's opinion that it would not have reduced the damage sustained by this ac
