Military Aviation A forum for the professionals who fly military hardware. Also for the backroom boys and girls who support the flying and maintain the equipment, and without whom nothing would ever leave the ground. All armies, navies and air forces of the world equally welcome here.

Military Related Books

Continuing my clear out theme, I am getting rid of a load of military books on various subjects. I could just take them down the recycling centre/dump, but thought I would ask if anyone wanted them enough to collect them.

I have had them on shelves for up to 30 years without reading most of them a second time. I suppose I sold give someone else a chance. Various subjects, e.g.:

Intelligence - a bit dated but maybe useful for historical/research purposes.
Victor Suvorov: The Liberators/Inside the Soviet Army/Aquarium/Soviet Military Intelligence/Spetsnaz, lots of others including on the Y service in WWII,

WWI:
Winged Warfare -LT Col William Bishop
Green Balls - Adventures of a Night Bomber - Paul Bewsher
The Spider Web - Romance of a Flying Boat Flight in the First World War.
The day We Almost Bombed Moscow - The Allied War in Russia 1918-1920 - Christopher Dobson & John Miller

Others eras covered are WWI, Korea, Vietnam, Falklands. Other subjects such as aviation medicine, strategy etc etc. Any one interested in a particular subject/theme just drop me a PM.

Not after anything in return, except maybe a contribution to a suitable service charity.

Would be interested in AP 3021? (Carpenters Bible for repairing wooden propellers, Canberra fins and flooring in V bombers) if you have one. Loaned mine out in 1977 to Jeff Plews - never got it back

Just a thought.

Do you think a miltary home (for old or injured servicemen) might find them useful?
