Navy V RAF Rugby
Army v RAF tomorrow (Wed 23 - St Georges Day, the patron Saint of England and.....Soldiers) at Newbury. A few years back the RAF nearly beat us due to complacency and the RN went on to beat us for the same reason. Those that sit on their laurels get a sore arrse.

That must have been quite a few years ago; I've been to most RAF v Army matches for the last decade or more and it's an awfully long time since the RAF got close to Fiji....er, I mean, the Army! Might have been when they played at Kingsholm, Gloucester about 10 years ago!

RAF v Army was 6-45(?). Not too bad marred by a little uneccessary argy-bargy 3 or 4 times. The Army appeared not to have many joined up moves with a lot of the scores either on the break or as result of mistakes by the RAF. The RAF did not have the monopoly on mistakes with the Army making some cringing errors in attack, defence, when required was pretty solid. The Army v RN will be a good match, I am looking forward to it.
