End of Era for RAAF B707's

Twenty-nine years of service by the B707 in the RAAF comes to an end late June 2008. A hangar bash in celebration of the B707 contribution to the RAAF will be held at RAAF Base, RICHMOND on June 28th. One of the first two of type in RAAF service (A20-624 Richmond Town) will be the last out of service. Anyone interested in knowing more can go to http://www.raaf.gov.au/b707farewell/index.htm for details. Just hope 50 years of the C130 does not go uncelebrated later this year.

Amazed to see that the corrosion caused by all those goats over the years didn't do for them earlier!
