Happy Centenary !
The Territorial Army, originally The Territorial Force, was established under the then Secretary of State for War, Richard Burdon Haldane, by The Territorial and Reserve Forces Act on August 2nd 1907. The Act gave control of the pre-existing Volunteer Army from 1st April 1908 to the War Office, reorganising it along lines which are still recognisable today.
