Your best bet is to go to the main guard room and explain to the friendly RAF policeman what you would like to do.

I am sure they will be only too pleased to sort you out.

What you bringing a jet over from Cottesmore? Talk to ops before you leave, they should be able to help.

hey girlmanu27 ROFL LMAO.......wasssssup!!

i have been to these to raf bases many times - not a lot going on there.

waddington is mainly a commercial jet storage airfield these days: loads of global express bizjets with no hours on the frames. something to do with SAR.... maybe search and rescue? like wot those 22 sqdrn seakings at raf kinloss do? waddo also has loads of heavy metal - boeing 707 airframes with cool modifications, like a rotating dance floor on the dorsal spine, LMAO! maybe the bods wot fly these would give you a ride () before they all leave the raf clutching their free ATPLs and offshore bank account books stuffed with flying pay.

coningsby is even quieter - it's where the top airshow display jets are based: spits, hurricanes, lancs, dakotas, typhoons. (Talk of them getting busy wiv going a broad, but first i think the raf are trying to find a country with an airforce for them to fight against first?!?)

anyways - peace sister. you can listen to their radio frequencies on 121.5 or 343 megamixhertz.

cheers bod,

TR.

What is really worrying is that girlmanu27 is probably being serious and is possibly even top of her/his class at school and will get 27 A*** grade passes at A-Level next year!!

That post is typical of the education system and youngsters these days - I know I have 2 and their education standard is having me pull what little hair I have left out

The owners of the little shop and butty hut in the spotters car park usually know more about the day's flying programme at Waddington than anyone on the camp (I think they must have hacked in somewhere).

If you haven't been before it's on your right as you head north up the A15, almost at the northern end of the airfield.

Everything is parked out on the eastern side at the moment because the western taxiway is being replaced (well, everything except the Sentinels which have to be towed out through the cones before every trip and towed back afterwards taking the lineys a distinctly unfunny 1-hour each way!)

If you take any good photos then please post them on here.

There are real aircraft at Coningsby as well as plastic paraffin burners. Follow the signs for BBMF, park up, get some info and enjoy the visit.

Hell, I'm a 'youngster' and (god must've disliked me) an outcome of Nu-Labour's education process, but I had NO idea what Training Risky was going on about.

Confused me no end. Actually- tbh (To Be Honest) most of us don't talk like that.

Just idiots.

Bu66er

What was meant to be a sarcastic post has spectacularly backfired with:
training riskey

please do not come to any RAF bases for educational reasons. You are not educated ( or should i say ed u k8ed)

Shocking
I was quite intrigued that nobody jumped on my inflammatory comment:
waddo is mainly a commercial jet storage airfield
Egg on my face!

Don't apologise, for those of us that do irony and humour, your post was funny and the (apparently educated!) "serious" posts, funnier still.
