Sshhh.....The Bear is stirring

Russia is hoping to make a giant come-back in civil and military aviation.
It has pledged to spend billions of dollars on boosting its defence industry, especially the air force. The goal is to build nearly 6,000 new military and civilian aircraft, and to win 15% of the global aviation market.

Does anyone else think that the comparisons are there to state that it's like were living in the 1920's all over again?

Battleing in Afganistan and facing large scale defence cuts. People in the know warning against the downsizing of the military etc.

Then 11 years later it all kicks off.

Looks like in 2019 the Germans will come kicking down the doors of Europe again then, or in this case probably the New USSR.

And I'll be to old to join up again Bugger, looks like I'll have to join Dads Army then, "Don't tell him your name GPMG"
