Parachutist nearly collides with Chipmunk

http://youtube.com/watch?v=lDQIzO0j0go

Aren't all pilots made aware of parachuting taking place either by ATC or by the Parachuting pilot transmitting on the local frequency at that time?

That was rather close... i wonder if the pilot saw him at the very last moment!

Razor have you learned nothing. Your thread yesterday concerning Pumas was locked. Why are you asking these questions from a video from 2004? You have nothing to do with aviation, who do you want to blame this one on? Where was the jump? was it notified? was it at an airfield? If not what ATC? What local frequency are you talking about? Anyone know when the last RAF Chipmunk flights were? etc etc.

Please stay on the SLF forum

I'm not blaming it on anyone, i saw the video and thought some people may be interested. In no way above have i even tried blaming the incident on the pilot. I didn't even mention the RAF either!
The way you carried on last night with your erratic postings swearing left right and centre and then editing them out every few minutes i'm not surprised the thread was locked. The thread posted afterwards of which you still carried on editing out your F words was deleted also.

I never edited out any F words, the only reason I edited was to add. What other thread was deleted? You are asking questions concerning an incident years ago.
