MAJOR Change on the way for SAR Operators...

Just thought I would pre warn you boys and girls in yellow, if you do not know already that is, that the twice daily helping of Ramsay Street viewage is due to move very soon...

According to the 'Speakers of Truth' at the Sun, the transition period is set for around the 18th March.

I just hope that all of your old, 12" CRT televisions can pick up the new fangled
Channel 5 thingy - Oh, wait... That new plasma kindly donated by Air Cmd has a digital tuner? HAPPY DAYS!

Misleading thread name

Please Mr Moderator, change the name of this thread, removing the word MAJOR. It may mislead Joe Public into believing the SAR 'service' is part of the UK military.

An out of Area isn't an aircraft delivery to Fleetlands ladies.

The put downs of the SAR force for not being deployable are pathetic, do you think anyone on the force would swap their exciting, rewarding at home job for a tour on SH getting shot at in a dusty ****hole?

If SH is so great why dont you just p**s off and get the job done without whinging for help from the "ladies" of the SAR Force?

The latest influx of SH into SAR has been rapidly followed by an efflux due the unpalatable nature of the shifts we do.

Get on with your job and leave us to do ours, or at least stop crying for help if all you can do is throw this c**p at us.

Now time to hug a tree.

22/7 Master, ironic SAR bashing given that 22/7 is a SAR Sqn?
