Ex RN Helo pilot?

Tried to post this before - not sure if I broke the rules or just failed dismally!

Rotary pilots with RN experience (deck landings) needed for Dauphin operation in the South West. SP IFR - anyone interested please pm me.

You could try the Chinook fleet, they've all done quite a few of those. I suppose if you can get a Wokka on deck a Dauphin shouldn't be much of a problem.

Yes all that spare power and control response in the CH47 must make it really tricky

PTC REMF,

.. and of course the decks of ships that can take a Chinook are so skittish in any sort of sea state, it can be a real challenge!

....plus having a smaller rotor disc than a Sea King must make space tight.

The job involves deck landings on small decks of often very small ships of numerous nations (not all NATO) as well as 'pretending' to be various different types of helo for ship work-ups - no disrespect intended but a thorough knowledge of RN /NATO procedures is 'assumed'. A pilot who has completed an RN exchange with long embarked periods would certainly be considered!

Pay is about £53K pa

I've Pm'ed him and had no reply.

Isit because my name is RAFEmployee that you think I wouldn't have the skill for a deck landing.

...and without any special requests, Wocka's can amputate the ship's anomometer if it's causing an obstruction during roping to the bridge roof.....

....followed by the classic R/T call questioning the ship's relative wind.

He was away so couldn't reply. You seem like another low life who just likes to add pointless comments to peoples threads.
