Helicopter loss in North Yorkshire

Breaking news on Sky:

Two people have reportedly been killed after a helicopter crashed in a golf club near Harrogate.
The aircraft came down in the grounds of Rudding Park Golf Club this afternoon.
An ambulance spokeswoman said two people were involved in the incident, but their condition was not known.

Emergency services were called to the scene about 4.30pm.

North Yorkshire Fire Services said three pumpers and a rescue unit attended the incident with cutting equipment.

Reported elsewhere as a civilian Gazelle flown by a very inexperienced pilot who only got his new toy today. High winds observed in the area. Sounds like a silly but sad incident. RIP
