Sea Harrier Squadron Officers Reunion 2008

Following on from last year's inaugural SHAR bash at "The Grapes" in London, this year's informal gathering is scheduled to take place on Friday 2 May from 1800 onwards at a similar establishment. Venue tbd but will be in the London area. The event is open to all Officers who have served in any of the 3 Sea Harrier Squadrons;the invitation is also extended to past and present Officers of the GR9 Naval Strike Wing. Partners are welcome, although the "fluid" nature of the gathering may be more suitable to solo attendance.. Contact me at [email protected] for news of venue and further details.

Just look for a pub with a small circle of blokes that appears to be wearing one long cummabund who turn in early before the mess games start.

Or how about when the GR9 guys get clobbered from long distance with no clue it was coming, then wake up working out they were at the the Seajet bash !

DZ ( Not a Seajet pilot, just casual observer...Happy New Year, WEBF !) .

One of life great mysteries - At an all Harrier Pilot Social Function do they still tell each other they are Harrier Pilots?
