Indian navy Sea Harrier Loss...

An Indian Navy Sea Harrier Crashed in Goa yesterday (25/12/07) on landing. Not much more info given however a picture was supplied.

They must be down to half of their original fleet now as they have sustained quite a few losses??

I think they have lost at least two this year alone. Maybe the birds at Shawbury will be more interesting now. Any chance of retrofitting Blue Fox on an FA2?

I should think if they did sensibly grab some FA2 airframes it would be more of an incentive to get on & do their own much talked about mid-life update, with the Israeli radar etc.

Though a while ago they said any FA2's bought would be basic VSTOL training only which seems a bit short-sighted ( pardon the pun ) and a luxury for a small obsolescent fleet...
