Zulu, per chance?

Try this:

'Do keep the noise down; there's a young man dying in there'.

Sounds like an evening out with an ex-girlfriend !

On a serious note for a moment, I only found on leaving Dunsfold that I'd been in the company of a real 'Dam Buster', Flt Engineer Ray Grayston - he's still with us, thankfully, but never talked about the sortie.

Things must have gone wrong on a subsequent raid, as he was only found out by the 'Caterpillar Club' tie.

I only have one thing in common with men of Ray's abilities - we both crashed MGB's !

Back to film lines, if you'll all excuse me -

" Rachael was special - we didn't how much time we had together; who does ? "

The Jazz Singer. First spoken words in a feature-length film.

You have a film industry person on hand. Must try harder.

Not strictly military, but still the 2nd best junta movie ever.

"Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?"

Dunhovrin - Animal House

OK - try:

"If there's any of you left, there will be someone here to pick you up in the morning".

Best anti-war film ever. Surprising considering who made it. And when.
AQOTWF.

I leave it open as I'm off to the pub.

Back again (fergot me allowances).
Liked the Goose Q. How about interspersing movie lines with war/flying movie trivia Q and As? I'll ask the lads for a few tonight. Yeah, I know, sounds like a fun night out don't it?.

But in the meantime:

a: "I broke my watch"

b: Who said it (real name)?

c: Who was sat next to him?

d: What song did he (person c) sing in another sister movie?

God, it's like another night in at BBK isn't it?

Ladies and gentlemen,

Hello to you all. I have been an avid observer of pprune for some time now and I felt it was high time to take the plunge and join you all properly.

Great thread, so if I may:

"Right, you! Grab that gun....any of those basds come in here, kill 'em!"
