I may be misunderstanding you, Faithless, but I'm sure charliegolf means the ridiculous Hawk colour scheme on the Hawk.

Not the ridiculous Hawk colour scheme on the Typhoo.

The latter, as must be obvious, is a perfectly acceptable way of dealing with the well-known Defence budget underspend of the last few years.
