Pay?

Just a quick question. What is the wage for Pilot from IOT, EFTS, FTS passing out at Valley. Does it go up as you go to the next each stage or stay the same?

Amazing what you can find on the internet, if you look.

Basic salary for officers:

Unless something wacky happens, you'll be in the OF1 range (Off Cdt to Fg Off) from the day you join until beyond your wings point.

Flying pay:

Flying pay doesn't kick in for some time and then increases incrementally over a long timescale. You'll start on nothing and at best be on lower rate when you get wings.

If you're in it for the money become an airline pilot, a city-boy or a plumber instead.

Do you have your joining instructions for Valley yet? You might be passing out of Shawbury or Cranwell instead or even...

Hence the incredibly humorous sarcasm of my last paragraph.
