Local ITV News and the RAF
Hi all.
As an ex-SARboy I am well aware of the positive publicity that has been broadcast in the past by my local news teams (both BBC and ITV). Therefore, I was somewhat agast to discover that there is a plan to get rid of local ITV news. This is an issue for the RAF community as a whole. The RAF is poorly placed at the moment (stations closing etc) and we need all of the friendly faces and good publicity that we can muster. The thought of loosing a local feed into the national news for items that generate local and maybe national interest fills me with concern.
