The things we do when we're bored!

Gents and Ladies,
I feel sure you have all seen this game:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/drama/rockface/game/main.swf

before but a couple of us here today are playing new challenges!
Start the training mission and see how high you can get and yet still make a safe landing before running out of fuel! We've managed about 4000 feet so far with a safe landing!
It's much more fun than the actual game!
Don't worry about the survivors. Just gaff them off!
BV

Get in!

8018 feet!
I reckon I can still improve though!
The bloody casualties become the limiting factor!

Doh!

As has just been pointed out to me, you can pick the casualties up first though!
I'm not too bright me!

High scores

My oppo has scored 17100 and landed safely.
I have just pipped him with 18557!
He is currently in the process of trying to snatch back the record!

What's the highest you can actually make the rescue from though?

I've just had over 1000 feet of rope out, and made the rescue!

700 point "INSANE WINCH BONUS" too!!

Way ahead of you!

I was just trying that as well!
Only done about 500 feet so far but still working on it!
On a slightly different note.
If helicopters aren't your bag try this one.

Again, I'm sure you'll recognise the game but see if you can get her flying upside down and backwards! You can still put the fires out but you can't pick up water!
Once again, yes I am bored.
Going home imminently.

Slightly better in my view

I got to 84,880 feet then it said I had hit a mountain!
Maybe it's because I am on a Mac?

Water Bomber

Nope. No Water

But the birdstrikes with the flaming engines are cool.

Like the way the cursor keys operate as down arrow = pitch up

Designer knew what he was doing!

PMSL, Christ, I cacked my first go up so badly it was almost a Monkeydust sketch.

My ribs hurt now, (the cheapo porn soundtrack didn't help either!)

Sign of a bad pilot SM,

As has been done to death over in the Osprey thread, you should have pushed the cyclic forward and rode through the vortex!

Picked up casualty. Got to 20,747ft. Killed casualty on way back down when cursor stuck and had a bit of a hard landing.

That'll learn em for getting stuck half way up a mountain!

Maybe I should give up on my ambition to fly SAR - the speed I hit the HLS at I think CAS or AI is probably more my forte
