Smile The Great Escape - not quite 2000 hrs to escape!

Just in case some of you out there don't know, you can count sim time towards your 2000 hrs required for converting QSP (H) to CPL (H). That means just 1000 hrs P1 with rest made up of sim, dual, P2 etc...checked this with CAA too. Obviously you're likely to have more P1 hours than all the rest combined!

Is it not 1500 hrs P1, of which 500 hrs can be P1 non-captain? Wasn't aware that sim time counted; permitted taxi time does not. But you are absolutely right...From LASORS....

D6.3(A) ROTARY ACCREDITATION SCHEME

Still, with 6100 in the logbook, I didn't need to look tooo closely!

Confused

Initially I was confused because I didn't quite believe that 1500 hrs P1 could ever actually mean 1000 hrs P1 and some other stuff....but it does!
