Valiant WP210 'crash', Wittering 5th May 1959
'5 May 1959 RAF Wittering: A Valiant landing from exercise Mayflight carrying a 2000lb nuclear weapon crashed. Plane no WP210 Flown by Sqn Ldr D.C. Gordon with FL Higgs.'

Does anyone know anything about this? I believe it's 49 squadron plane but Eric Morgan makes no mention of it in his Valiant book.

with the greatest respect, most of that falls into the rubbish surrounding the military category.
