Nimrod at Sunset

Hi all,

Thieving gypsy, put it back! We need all the Nimrods we've got......

And just where do you suppose you're going to hide it? You'll never get away with it. Guards!

Ranger,
Nice Pic, it was a beautiful sunset on the Costa del Moray last night, best this year so far I think, even better with a beer outside the Kimberley

Played Old Moray (the golf course that can be seen on the left of the screen at around the 2min mark) with the parents a couple of months back. Fantastic weather, great scenery, and GR4's over head all afternoon. Awesome day. (very loud!)

Pity the golf wasn't as good.

CK,

Do they still do the steak sarnies there, the ones you could eat with a spoon? Drool. I have no military stuff on my walls at all, apart from a water painting of The Kimberley and the waterfront there. And thats not really military. Good memories, and a great road into Inverness too.. when plod was doing shift handover.

Al R,

Yes the menu at the Kimberley still has large and tasty portions. However, not quite as large or as cheep as you probably remember them, that's inflation for you

The Crown and Anchor now has good food also. Nothing wrong with a little healthy competition.

But you can't beat the Kimberly for the view

Yes - especially when you lived on Lancaster Crescent St Eval and were trying to sleep off nights!

Desktop?

That first picture makes a superb desktop (Right-Click on the picture and select 'Save As Background').

Nice one ranger703.

Thanks for the comments. The pic posted is only 800x533 so although it makes for an OK desktop, the larger version 1200x800 is far less pixelated and looks a lot better.

Any crew that are not aware, check with the Captain,he now has a CD with all the shots I took on it at the larger size of 1200x800,these are good for printing upto 15x10in(Boots £2.99)and possibly larger, but I have'nt tried.

I'm still replying to PM's and sending on shots, so bare with me if I have'nt replied yet,its been a busy 48hrs for me.
