Military Aviation A forum for the professionals who fly military hardware. Also for the backroom boys and girls who support the flying and maintain the equipment, and without whom nothing would ever leave the ground. All armies, navies and air forces of the world equally welcome here.

I hope this is ok on this thread; it certainly seems the most likely to bear fruit.

The team in the U.S. who are getting SHAR XZ439 flying again are naturally aiming to present all info' possible on the aircraft type, both at displays and for a documentary.

Their photo-journalist, Tim Wright, is very keen to contact Soapy Ward to discuss his fine achievement in the ' Alraigo incident ', not to mention 'RIBBIT', his leader that day.

The Smithsonian has also asked him to cover the story, properly. I know how popular journo's in general are, but this one knows what he's doing, and has Test Pilot guidance & the sense to know when to ask !

Could Mr.Watson, RIBBIT or anyone with info' please PM me.

Thanks, DZ.
