Thai A F 737 at Man today

That was the headline I saw on another forum, apparently the aircraft stopped for around an hour.

Wouldn't have anything to do with former Thailand PM Mr Thaksins takeover at Manchester City FC would it? Surely he couldn't even wangle that one

Unless it's taking him to face corruption charges in Thailand etc where he has been asked to return to by the government to assist with their enquiries - no- I rather doubt it.

Maybe they came for some clay ( http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthr...ight=clay+thai ) from the former Jackson's Brick Works on the Southside. Pity they built 24L/06R (or is it now 23L/05R?) over it.

From what I understand the Crown Prince is finishing his flying training in Sweden and is making several flights a day in the Royal B737.

The Crown Prince has an ATPL and is 734 rated. This particular aircraft is his own and it was in Europe to support his mothers visit to Russia.
