Hey DH,

I thought that after the All Blacks last game, you'd be an alcoholic by now!

And I never did get to hear:

"G020, 1 x 747 throu' the overhead East to west FL390, G020"

Westbound I'm too busy sorting out the sandwich tray. Eastbound it's brekkie time. Will discuss at length when we're in The Loadmasters' Arms. Hmm let me re-phrase this..

If it is me who you are referring to as Gibraltar Al, then unfortunately I will not be attending, on my way to the Cape Verde Islands more than likely

Bloody Good Do last night

Fantastic do last night, great to see a lot of my old mates and make some new ones. Feeling a bit shabby this morning.

Looking forward to the next one already.

A very Merry Christmas and happy New Year to you all.

Agreed, top night, an awesome turnout, and fitting tribute (hope you were watching Ritchie!). A big thanks to the chap who organised it (you know who you are, and so do we) Now back to my rather lethargic day.

Absolutely top night, as ever. Great to see so many familiar faces, and it was the usual curry/chinese option, or 'Eatin's Cheatin!'

Particular hat-tip to those who came straight from further afield, and to the mad scientists

See you in '08...

Have done a quick scout through the blue book, and there are 150 e-mails on the list (actually 170, but there are a few of the [email protected] types!), so an excellent turnout. One day, I'll actually remember one of these things!

Don't think I've seen as many jolly fat men since Santa Claus school. But enough about the loadie mafia. Great turn out and great to listen to so many ex-junta staff officers telling me that No, THEIR job was much more important than everyone else's. Maybe it was the jetlag that got the eyelids going...

But top night all round and I'll be back for '08 - though maybe with a bigger pink chit. Well done, fat bloke.

DH, I'm, surprised you noticed....you drank your own body-weight in Spitfire and didn't move from the same position for 6 hrs whilst regaling all with your medal mish story!

See you next year. Say hi to Dres for me.

Dat's my birthday, I will be the same age as my puma sqn I served on. Where be my invite??

Yes and obviously I worked (allegedly) on 230 - not.

Another stupid question though - is it only you winged master race that get to go or are your humble groundcrew let into the corner and given half a shandy?
