I know that there have been various threads on low flypasts in "The Stan" but here goes for another!

Here is a VERY low A10 flypast:

Aaaah the A10. They used to whine over our cottage regularly. Think they used to use a farmhouse up the road as a TP. Often used to wave as they went over at silly heights

I presume they're sitting off the end of the runway and the A10s clean up and stay low as a MANPAD defensive move.

It's nice to see that Warthog drivers still hug the earth. I recall driving through the Stanford Battle Area (EGD208) in UK sometime in the early eighties in my Moggy Thou Traveller (heading for work at Eastern Radar at Watton) northbound toward Froghill or some other point as an A10 from Bentwaters or Woodbridge headed south on the same road. As he passed over the top, about the same height as our man in the video, I thought that I wouldn't want to see that gun any closer in anger. Or was it Oh shiiiiiiit! By the way Ping-in-sh that's the way it is; not crazy, just a good operator. Go to it. By the way, where are numbers 2,3 and 4?

Personally, I would be getting as far away as possible from a military vehicle if I saw an A10 coming.

Just a thought.......

I liked the fly past but then came across this exciting video showing how hard the RAF Gunners are working in Theatre!

He should have been inverted pulling over the hilltop - much safer.

I think you will find that Afghanistan is in South Asia.
