VC10 at Hanover

Taxied past a Vickers Fun Bus (Kilo) earlier this evening at Hanover. Must have been there most of the day - Ground crew arrived around 1830CET with driver and mate about ten minute later to prep for departure. Remember operating out of Hanover as a major mounting base in the 70's and 80's, but thought that MBO was the order of the day..., or are the AT taskers still willing to deliver/collect SLF from away bases - I guess Hanover area could be decribed as cost effective to drop-off/pick-up given the cost of forwarding SLF from UK to Germany!!
