Another urban myth

Anyone choose to comment on the tale about a TV detector van getting a rather larger dose of EM radiation than it was expecting from unlicenced TVs at RAF Wyton MQs and Messes when a 360 Sqn aircraft chose to emit on the required frequency?

Mind you, Blue Diver would have f d it up but they didn't have detector vans then so it just fd up all the B&W TV sets in the north of England.
