The second shot isn't as close as you think. The photo looks 'canopy to canopy' but if you were to view it in reality the aircraft are well spaced laterally.

The first image was not taken in Russia. It was taken in China at Zhangjiajie- Hehua on March 19, 2006. The original image is on Airliners.net.

Download the Zhukovsky PPS file. I wonder why they would include a shot from a Chinese Airshow? I guess it's because it gets one's attention!

It's just a collection of shots. Not everthing pictured there is from Zhukovsky. They are also breaking copyright on a number of images ripped off from airliners.net

The second shot was taken in 2005 in the UAE with a 600mm lens. That is why the aircraft appear to be so close. In reality they are not that close as the image implies.
