Help needed from crewroom rumour control - JPA no use

Fellow PPruners - I am pulling my hair out with JPA. My HR specialists are currently unable to give me any information because the computer is down and I have no access to a JPA terminal.
I am trying to find out what the current daily subsistence rate is in the UK and also in France. I am also trying to find out how much the booking service will pay out for a hotel in both the UK and France.
Any help would be much appreciated - it is sad that I can no longer simply ask an adminer to look in a book!!
Cheers

UK is £21.80 which includes £5 for lunch. Incidentals is £5 (But you MUST have a receipt for all incidentals now)

The hotac is not a lot, about £40 I seem to recall, unless, you book through CHBS and they can't find one within that budget.

Retain all your receipts!!!!!

As for France, not sure. Hope that helps

You need to look for JSP752 - its online somewhere under JSPs or publications or reference or something - so long as you have a intranet computer! UK is £21.20 I think, having just put in a claim (and mistakenly left off the 20p damnit). You have to know the max and claim it if expenditure was more - you can't just say what you spent and get only the maximum paid. Overseas is not in there though. Other rates are in there, eg max rate for hotac if booked not through CHBS (Expotel). There is no max rate if booked through CHBS I don't think, but over a certain amount (last time I did it it was £99) they have to have the budget holder's approval. You CAN claim without receipts but you have to 'self certify' but check with your HR office on how to record it. Receipts are now apparently to be kept for 2 years.

My God! What on earth does a hotel costing £40 look like? Each and every one of my CHBS booked hotels come in way over this level and there has never been a problem with a claim. What I have never been able to get my head around, however, is just what constitutes a claimable incidental - advice gratefully received.

In 1990 the standard London Daily Subsistence Rate would just about cover a Salvation Army Hostel.
I see nothing has changed.

SP Pol send out the new subsistence rates each month - each station gets a copy - probably your allow or FSI section or the chf clk; PD points may not have seen it.
Forgive use of old language but they keep changing the names that often
