RAF C130J destroyed

A C130J had to be destroyed by friendly forces, after a landing incident in southern Iraq.

It was considered to dangerious to recover the aircraft, and the aircraft was destroyed by friendly forces, to stop sensitive equipment being taken.

Two crew members were taken to hospital, but no names or extent of their injuries were forthcoming.

Regards

Col

Aircraft was ZH876
