Hey Guys just a wondering if anyone has any info on when pay award will be announced and if anyone has spoken to the DO about if and what will the new FRI be like.

Ive got 14 months to go to exit date, but have still not managed to decide to jump ship yet and only got 2 months until PA offer expires.

Heard from a mate just back from ICSC that the word on the street (from the visiting PMA bods) is that the package has been finalised, agreed by the treasury and will be targetted at (quote) pinch trades. So Firemen, Caterers and MT drivers etc may be in with a shout as well as the usual suspects.

FRI for firefighters was announced about 3 weeks ago. Targeted at SACs in the 4 - 4.5 yr bracket. They must sign on to 7.5 yrs but should the attempt to PVR during this time there applications will be rejected.

I clicked on the thread because I took the title to be a statement rather than a question. Can't think why.
