How Low Can You Go

Apologies if this YouTube video has been posted before. Still can't quite believe how low those French pilots get in their Mirage's....!

Has anyone seen the shoots of a Typhoon nosing up to a Herc ramp in flight, (taken from on the ramp)? Seen the pictures at work but cannot download them to my machine, (limited privs etc).
What was the purpose of it?

Don't be fooled by the use of a long focal length lens. The Typhoon was not 'nosing up' to the ramp but some way behind. Mind you closer than I would
want to be! Got my attention when I first saw it.

Thanks for that, cleared up a few arguments at work, some thought he had forgotten his butty box! As an engineer I hate seeing a perfectly serviceable aircraft being put too close to another perfectly serviceable one, particularly in flight

(In this case it might damage the Herc, especially when the urinal decides to unblock)!

Is that Danny's flying pigs I see going past!

I loved the KC-135 flypast.

That tanker skipper is the probably the French equivalent of BEagle.

NON!

The only tanker* flypasts I ever did were strictly kosher.

Apart from one I got slightly wrong when I forgot to reset QFE (we didn't have rad alts) doing a 'Sunset Flypast' of the OM. I gather it looked quite good though......

But not as impressive as the 3-ship flypast to commemorate the VC10 40th anniversary which I saw last year. THAT was truly outstanding!!

*Can't say the same for Vulcan B2 XL319, RAF Honington, 17 June 1978 though.......

Would that be this one? I'm surpised the ensign isn't flying directly towards the intake of those Olympii, given the proximity! Wouldn't be the first time a parade square's occupants have lost their hats either!
